 Ray was awarded her Actors' Equity Association card while she played Rusty in Footloose and sang "Let’s Hear It For The Boy". She played Nemo in Robert Lopez and Kristin Lopez’s Finding Nemo: The Musical, Orlando's Disney World. Ray also played Olive Ostrovsky during the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee national tour. She joined the Broadway cast of Hair in its final year as Crissy, and sang the song "Frank Mills". In the video-short The Sparky Chronicles: The Map the actress made her screen debut as Chris. Between 2012 and the year 2017, Ray played the role of CeCe Drake who is a "beyond charismatic twenty-something blonde stylist in a boutique with one foot in the past, and another in the future" on the popular television show Pretty Little Liars. Ray was asked to return to PLL to film again , and declared that it was a wonderful experience as well as a distinctive character. She's the perfect sociopath.
