Her career began as a singer after moving to Minneapolis in the United States, where she was introduced to Prince who released her self-titled debut studio album which was released in 1993. Electra began glamour modeling in 1996, with appearances in Playboy magazine. She then moved to Los Angeles where she made her acting debut as Lani McKenzie on the MTV drama show Baywatch (1997-1998). In 2004, she was a co-star on the reality series 'Til You Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave with her then-husband Dave Navarro, and voiced Six in the animated show Tripping the Rift. Electra was later known for her parody movies which include Scary Movie (2000) and Scary Movie 4 (2006). Also, she was a part of Date Movie (2006), Epic Movie (2007) and Meet the Spartans (2008). Other films include Get Over It (2001).
